Wetland Delineation and Assessment
C-K takes pride in its staff of experienced wetlands personnel including field-trained botanists, foresters, and wildlife biologists. This staff has trained extensively to assist industrial, pipeline and commercial clients in undertaking wetland determinations, permitting, mitigation, and restoration in accordance with the requirements of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and the Coastal Zone Management Act. This experience, combined with our state-of-the-art mapping instruments, allows us to produce accurate products for our clients.
Our staff prepares approximately 15 wetland assessments per month and submits an average of ten wetland data reports to the US Army Corps of Engineers and/or Coastal Management authorities each month for jurisdictional determinations. Our wetland delineators have each completed certified wetland delineation courses and are skilled in using specialized sampling equipment. Staff delineators use three models of Trimble Global Positioning Systems (GPS), which produce accurate readings in even the most difficult conditions. If needed, GPS topographic surveys can be conducted to demonstrate specific hydrologic features. This equipment allows our staff to provide the most professional and accurate results possible for our clients. All mapping products can be produced in AutoCAD or ArcView format. Our goal is to produce accurate wetland mapping for our clients.
