C-K is a proven leader in National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)/Louisiana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (LPDES) water/wastewater permitting and compliance. Our staff has complete knowledge and expertise of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas state water regulations and permitting procedures as well as federal water regulations. Our staff has total familiarity with the permitting and compliance of petroleum refineries, steam and electric generation facilities, chemical manufacturing plants, as well as other industrial facilities. Our staff maintains excellent working relationships with Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency personnel including permit writers and management.

C-K has conducted and/or prepared permit applications, calculation of effluent limits, water quality standards screening, surface water quality and mixing zone modeling, water-effect ratio studies, chemical translator studies, 316(b) evaluations and Comprehensive Demonstration Studies, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans. In addition, C-K is experienced and capable of conducting water quality field studies to support LPDES permitting and compliance.
